Creative Ones,

 

You are responsible for your pain. And… you have the ability to heal it.

No--- you did not cause your pain but it is yours to resolve and evolve. This is your soul’s mission and the key to your joy, your freedom and your empowerment.

The wounded ego (vs. the healthy integrated ego) loves pain and it doesn’t want you to heal. It wants you to stay a victim and disempowered. It feeds on pain, resentment and it thrives on attention, drama and fear. It’s job is to keep you separated from love, from the truth of who you really are. A powerful creator!

 

Are you a creator or a reactor? (and thank you, Andrew Martin who pointed out these words have the same letters in their spelling!)

 

What are you choosing?

 

Your wound is the narcissist and it will do anything to feed off of your light! Suck you dry! Keep you in the same karmic cycle until you….remember the truth of who you are, make another choice and choose to align with creation! Your true nature!

Your wild creative self that has all the answers, that deeply knows, senses and is powerful beyond belief!

 

Your wild creative self is free, and has the primal force within to create worlds. If you let it out. If you express it, if you learn to trust your creative flow and its Divine nature and connection with all that is.

 

To do this is quite natural and yet we have to release all the programming, the stories, the conditioning, the karmic patterns that have kept us in denial of this true wild nature!

 

We have been taught to fear it. Cage it. Tame it. Repress it. Along with our e-motions because our e-motions contain…that is right—your emotions are not to be feared, they contain the power of our life force energy! YOUR VERY LIFE! Vitality! Well-Being and if they are not allowed to flow, express, evolve and create we block our life. We block our vitality. We block our Well-being. We block our creative flow. It is all related.

 

So healing-- you see is just allowing this e-motional energy to flow through you so you naturally become the alchemist of your own energy and life (so within, so without) tap into and you embrace your power as a quantum creator. The ability to create from the inside out, mastering your own creative energy flow! It’s that simple (not always easy because we have been told that we aren’t that powerful or worthy of such innate gifts) and the choice is yours!

 

It’s a decision. A choice.

And healing then becomes a journey of remembering, of embodiment of reclamation and evolution. Of multi-dimensional expansion into the fullness of YOU!

 

THIS IS THE CENTER OF YOUR WELL BEING> YOUR FULL-SELF EXPRESSION. YOUR CREATIVE ABILITIES.

 

How exciting is this? You are not broken. You are not a lost soul or cause you simply need to reclaim the lost parts, the dormant parts of your true wild creative self & nature and activate your own gifts!

NO ONE else can truly heal you or empower you, it has to come from within. Sure people can guide you, mentor you, teach you and activate your energy and support you with the perspectives, tools & experiences that will support you claiming all of who you are and letting go of the rest. Look for those people! Look for those teachers that activate you, inspire and even trigger your wounds! You will not find them in a traditional therapeutic paradigm. Those systems are set up to disempower and support co+dependency and are unconscious to this dynamic.

 

MY STORY...

 

When I began to awaken to my passion and purpose almost 20 years ago, I was living the corporate dream in San Francisco and I was depressed, bored and unfulfilled. I was making six-figures before I was 30 in the tech world and to so many people I had made it! I was a success! And yet I remember calling my father on the way home from Silicon Valley, driving down the 101---crying because I was dying inside.

 

I knew selling microprocessors was not my soul’s purpose. It was not my passion. I knew I was here for something more…

 

So I went back to my creative roots. I took all sorts of classes, photography, life drawing and poetry…but my real passion was painting. And it was that intuitive process-oriented painting class in San Fran-disco that activated the dormant part of myself, my right brain, my intuition and soul knowing, my voice, my trapped emotions and expression and set me free.

 

That is when I realized, that this is what I needed and everyone around me to get into their bodies, to create with wild abandon, to play with color and texture and brushes and fingers, to imagine, to get messy, experiment, discover… and make mistakes!

 

This activate a fire in me that set me on a powerful journey a calling of awakening and creative passion. It has continued to evolve and grow as I have over the last 20 years!

 

I also looking into Art Therapy programs and decided the clinical approach was NOT for me. As an artist and an activator of soul & empowerment, I wanted to get people creating, in their bodies, in the studio, getting messy and expressing themselves! Not---diagnosing people through their art or looking at them from anything less than a place of wholeness. I knew the pathological approach was not for me as it did not set people up to heal and evolve, but keep them sick and dependent.

 

I then discovered the field of Expressive Arts Therapy….that was based on the premise and client-centered work of Carl Rogers that the act of creating and expressing yourself will activate your well-being and journey to wholeness. I loved using all the expressive arts and chose to purse a Masters in Transpersonal Psychology with a focus in Creative Expression. Even after all my clinical training and doing all the hours to become a therapist in California, I could not take the clinical exam. It did not resonate with me. I saw the system as broken and felt deeply called to go a different route and blaze a new trail….

 

I had worked with a life coach in SF in making the decision to transition from corporate marketing at Intel to follow my passion and purpose!

 

From this experience, married with my passion for the expressive and transformative arts…the Fire Tree Method™ was born! A unique experiential right-left brain approach and the first of its kind, blending coaching + expressive, transformative arts.

 

I have served hundreds of clients over the last 15 years with this approach and teaching intuitive painting classes and retreats in the studio from SF,  to Austin, to Martha’s Vineyard to Costa Rica and beyond. I have been training apprentices in this approach since 2009 and have facilitators in the US and Australia!

 

And I have to say the latest process and tools I have developed out of my 20 years of experience and my own creative transformation - Creative Alchemy™ & Karmic Alchemy™, using ceremony and spontaneous, creative expression to release and evolve trapped trauma and karmic patterns are the best for freeing yourself and living a multi-dimensional life!
