Greetings Creative Ones...

The island called when I was 21 years old, I had just completed my junior year of college when I received the invitation to go to Martha's Vineyard for the summer. I thank my Mother for encouraging me to go for it and spend the summer on this magical mysterious island.

That summer changed my life and opened me up to a greater experience and expansion of myself.  My summer job selling clothes in a creative boutique I learned about intuitive design, connecting with people and gained confidence in myself as woman.  My experienced first true love, where I learned what kind of love was truly possible.

I have continued to return to the island almost every year ever since and it has even inspired my current writing project, When The Island Calls. To say that Martha's Vineyard is creatively inspiring, is well and understatement. I have spent a few winters, year round... and for the last 8 years I have facilitated an annual intuitive painting retreat here based on my inspiration that has also changed my life and those that attend.  I am honored to have the opportunity to offer such nourishing deep creative work and...

There really is something about this island. Its deep colors and fragrant smells, its mystical aura allows creativity to flourish --especially when on retreat, we create the space and immerse ourselves in commune with nature, in a way that you don't experience in your daily life, unless you retreat, with other like minded souls in inquiry and nourishment. Join me and a powerful group of other creative visionary women as we powwow among the September stars on Martha's Vineyard where we will commune and move and along a sacred pond on a magical creative compound in the woods a block from the beach right next door to Carly Simon's farm.  At Flat Bottom Pond, a big beautiful barn becomes our studio and sacred creative space of discovery, connection, nourishment and inspiration.
