Have you ever felt 'depressed' I don't mean down in the dumps after your cat died, or a situational loss of life or love, rather more just
really kinda numb to life where you feel as if nothing matters anymore and the world has gone to hell and hamster...or a hamburger...or in a handbag, Whatever... you get my drift.
If so, then you probably felt disconnected from your heart, the place where our feeling body resides. There was probably something inside that didn't feel good and so you...just didn't want to feel it. You
numb out.
Well guess what. That is also true of our good feelings,
sometimes we suppress them too because we don't feel worthy of feeling good!
There a
dragons and monsters inside our heads that roar their voices at an attempt to sabotage. Like passion... most people are afraid to live a passionate life because they truthful feel deep down inside...who am I to really go for my desires? Who am I to want what I want...Who am I to dream a different dream? Who am I to be seen, lit up alive an on fire?
Who are you not to? The world needs people more than ever now, who are passionately lit up from the inside out.
When we deny our passion we deny ourselves.
We deny our life-force, our creator and ability to create at every level of our lives.
We basically deny our existence when we repress or suppress our passion and then we
become, depressed. We give up our power. We forget we are creators. We forget we are made of passion and life. Because to life a passionate life, we have to feel our feelings!
This is why creative self-expression is so important. It is a healthy, fun, creative way to express ourselves and tap into our passionate flow.
