If you are feeling the wave of constant change, know that you are not alone. We are in powerful times of change and
transformation. If you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, worried and fearful of things happening beyond your control, then take to heart, you may be going against the current cosmic creative flow and it is easy to get back in with these three steps.
So how do we keep a
float during this potent creative current?
1. Acceptance. Last week I spoke about acceptance being the key
to easy, grace and flow. This is always our first step to flow. Why? Because when we fight with what is we always loose and it is an easy way to suffer and spiral downward, creating more suffering. It reminds me of Byron Katie's work, called THE WORK. She says when we fight with reality (what is), we always loose, i.e. wanting things to be
different. Plus it is a drain of energy. Of course our power to shift reality is in the present moment and we can only access this creative potential when we surrender...which brings me to the next step...
2. Let Go. Let go of anything that isn't serving your
highest expression (love), including emotions that may need to be expressed, metabolized and alchemized in order to live your best life.
For example, if you are
feeling triggered by something in your external world, know that it is bringing light to an emotion or old trauma/block that has not been felt, revealed and healed. Take the time to feel and be present with what your emotions are showing you. Remember emotions are energy-in-motion. When we allow our emotions to flow through us we are in harmony with life and the larger creative current of life.
Then we may move forward with renewed creative potential and purpose.
3. Trust Divine Timing.
When we let go of having to control all the details, or when things need to happen based on our egos agenda, we can surrender to the divine will and flow in harmony with all of creation. The ego hates the thought of divine flow, because it loves.to.be.in.control! It thinks it knows everything, resists, criticizes and needs to know every detail before moving forward. This often blocks
miracles. The reality is we never know in totality and trusting the inspiration and inner guidance we receive on when to take action is really a full body experience. You know in your gut when to move. You will be guided. You will know. If your feeling stuck, your most likely out of alignment with your own timing and flow. So tune in, and listen to what feels right.
Accept.
Let go.
Trust.
