Greetings 

 
Welcome to 2016 Loves!  And what a wonderful year of creativity, expansion and growth it will be.

Are you ready to empower your vision in 2016?

Let me ask you a question....

What are you accepting about yourself/your life that is controlling and limiting you?


ACTION STEP--->Take out a pen an jot down the first thing that comes to mind.  What is the story that you are telling yourself that is keeping you stuck, angry, grieving, overwhelmed, fearful and blaming someone else for your life.

WRITE IT DOWN.

Ok, now I am going to invite you to be really honest with yourself here...

How do you feel when you believe that thought?

For example, your belief may sound like....

'I don't have enough money to do X..'
'It will be too much work to finally start my own business...'
'It will be too much work to leave my unhealthy/unfulfilling relationship/job...'
'I am scared of what other people with think of me if I really put myself out there...'
'I need to be 'responsible'...I have other obligations....so I can't take that leap and grow...
'I failed before, I will fail again, I am a failure.

etc. etc.

These are the beliefs I hear the MOST in my coaching practice of the last 10 years. And hey, I used to have them too.  These limited beliefs are also what keep most people from their true happiness and fulfilling their dreams.  They never understand that they can change the story they are telling themselves and open up a whole new era of possibility for, just by challenging these assumptions.  

Pick the one that resonates with you the most, or perhaps you had a different one come to you.  Notice the feelings it evokes. See if you can track it back to the story you have been telling yourself?

Let me give you a little hint...those beliefs you are accepting and the stories you are telling yourself and others that keep these assumptions in place are what's keeping your creativity STUCK and unfulfilled in all areas of your life.  

How do you feel when you believe these assumptions about your life?

Trapped?
Stuck?
Disempowered?
Overwhelmed?
Resentful?
Angry?
Afraid?
Helpless...? 

The list goes on.  And hey, its natural to feel this way.  Of course if this is the story you are telling yourself and have been telling yourself and keep telling all the people around you (who are most likely telling the same stories, and will gladly reinforce yours too) then, you will by natural law--create this reality for yourself.

However....there is another way, you can change your story by changing the underlying assumptions that are holding your story in place.

For example let's bust through these limiting beliefs for a more empowered thought shall we?

'I don't have enough money to do X...' --->
"Since I am committed to my happiness, vision and dreams, I will find, create, attract, or borrow the money I need to do X because it is a priority in my life.'

Continue the honest inquiry:  How committed are you to yourself?

'It will be too much work to finally start my own business...' --->
"Owning my own business will allow me to share my passion and gifts with the world and give me freedom and flexibility to live life on my own terms. It will be a lot of work, and require me to grow constantly, AND I am worth it.'  

Continue the honest inquiry: Are you willing to grow, take a risk, roll up your selves and do the inner and outer work required to create results?

'It will be too much work to leave my unhealthy/unfulfilling relationship/job...' --->
It will be a lot of work, and I will have to grow beyond my current comfort zone AND I am worth it.'

​Continue the honest inquiry: Do you feel worthy of living a fulfilling and rich life?  What do you need to do to change that? How can you get support now to shift this?

'I am scared of what other people will with think of me if I really put myself out there...'--->
I am willing give love and approval to myself, risk being criticized by others (who are most likely not living a life of integrity and happiness, themselves) to live a life that I love and that feels authentically me.

​Continue the honest inquiry: Are you willing to love all the parts of you that are looking for love, attention, approval and worthiness from outside of yourself? Are you ready to be truly happy from the inside out, totally empowered being your authentic, fabulous self?

'I need to be 'responsible'...I have other obligations....so I can't take that leap and grow... --->
It is self-responsible to make my needs, passions and growth a priority so I may take on more responsibilities and contribute to others in a bigger way.

​Continue the honest inquiry: Are you willing to put yourself first in order to serve others from a place of empowerment wholeness and love, vs. resentment and overwhelm?

'I failed before, I will fail again, I am a failure.--->
I have made mistakes in the past, and I learned and grew from them, and now I am better and wiser  and more powerful than ever.  

​Continue the honest inquiry: Are you willing to claim your success and happiness and start telling yourself a different story
