Greetings Creative Ones!

It's OK to be scared. I know it is uncomfortable. (I know it well!) And this is where we meet ourselves when there is nothing to cling to.  This is the point of wild aliveness that we all crave and often run from...

Your ego will throw a tantrum. Your critic a hissy, and just do it anyway, there IS light on the other side.  In our crazy alpha left-brain dominated culture, obsessed with do-do and achieve achieve achieve it is sometimes hard to get beyond the addiction to having it all figured out, looking 'good' and just put a happy FACEbook on it!  And this is the trap.  The cage.  The lie.

In so many ways this is what the intuitive painting process teaches us... how to let go, be in the unknown, trust the process, be comfortable in the chaos and run free in the mystery of it all.   This is secretly what every human soul craves.  To traverse these waters.  To tap into the wildness of the creative animal that runs through our veins dying to be set free.

Yet most of us in our modern day life set out down misguided paths looking to external things which we hope will satiate our hunger only to perpetuate more pain and disillusionment.  Until we find our way back home.
