You know that voice.  The primal stirring and yearning voice that lies deep within you.  The voice that is connected to the cycles of the moon, the rhythms of the ocean and the pulse of every living, breathing thing.

The voice that is your innate connection to the wisdom of the Universe and holds the knowingness that is only true for your divine, brilliant heart.

She is your inner wildness.   And she holds the keys to your power as a woman.  Not your power over others ...but your force of nature.  Your potency, potential and delight.

Has she disappeared, left abandoned-- by you?  Locked in a cage of other people's expectations, shame of the fire that inhabits your truth and the stress and routine of modern day life?  Hidden under fear, resentment, and raging at the grief and loss of our connection to Spirit.

Wild and Woman.  When women here these words an old old memory is stirred and brought back to life.  The memory is of our absolute, undeniable and irrevocable kinship with the wild feminine, a relationship which may have become ghostly from neglect, buried by over-domestication, outlawed by the surrounding culture, or no longer understood anymore.  We may have forgotten her names we may not answer when she calls ours, but in our bones we know her, we yearn toward her; we know she belongs to us and we to her.
