Wow, May was a powerful month for many! I know that I have been moving a tremendous amount of energy moving in my life,
calling me to grow in all my relationships and let go of patterns, beliefs and behaviors that no longer serve my creativity and highest potential in life.
So let's face it, sometimes Life just feels difficult! However our response...and beliefs about what is happening determines a lot about how we experience Life. For example, if we have the belief that Life is happening TO us, rather than FOR us and our greater growth, or created by our Highest Selfs for our evolutionary fulfillment, we have a very different experience of it.
We begin to see it as a blessing. We begin to experience it as a existential challenge that is summoning us to a greater expression and happiness.
For example... I pinched a nerve in my neck this week that went all the way down my arm and into my hand. It is really painful and forced me to slow down, rest, take loving care of myself and get support. Truthfully, at first I was pissed! I had to let go and say no to a few opportunities and ask for help, which is sometimes hard for me to do.
And then I saw this as a great opportunity to practice the self-nurturing that I take a stand for in my own life and with my clients. I cleared my calendar. I booked a massage. I iced it and spent the afternoon in bed. My body was saying, be gentle with me!
And the funny thing is. Once I did this, I had new clients and opportunities flocking to me. Once I listened, took a pause and chose to rest--it allowed me to open up and receive which is an area of my own growth since I am much more comfortable in a giving role. I demonstrated to the Universe that I appreciated myself, and took loving care and so therefore life takes care of me. With loving support from my partner, appreciation in my business and much needed nourishment for myself.
