Hello Beautiful Creative Ones!

Happy Spring, Easter, Passover and all that a new season and new birth brings!

I am still celebrating after another fabulous weekend retreat for The Phoenix Rising Experience.  These women continue to inspire me with their deep commitment to themselves to living more authentically by claiming their power and passion!

 After leading powerful, creative and highly transformative retreats for the last 5 years with such purpose, I have learned... and life has taught me... how important play  is in replenishing my cup after holding a deep space for others. I can tell you one thing, I could not do intense personal work with people if I didn't have play in my life as an active ingredient to keep things light and as a reminder to take myself (and others!) less seriously!

Here is a pic of me 'horsing around' after the retreat with Sparkie who lives at The Irish Hills Ranch on the central coast of California.  I had so much fun taking a few days off for my own personal down time post retreat and soaking up all the joy in this wonder-filled playground for the senses.

I also have become a huge fan of Words With Friends, Scrabble for the iPhone & iPad.  While your inner gremlin may think...'this is a waste of time..., or 'I am not a gamer...this isn't for me', like mine did, it has been super fun to wind down with a pointless game of Scrabble and opens up another door to stay connected with friends and family.

Playing with children is another great way to get back into the flow.  They are such great reminders of how important make-believe is for the imagination and keeping it open and active for ideas, opportunities and fresh perspectives.
