If you are on the verge of birthing something big, you need to nourish it 100%. How can this be done if we are giving our power away to other people's thoughts, expectations and needs of what they think we should do, be or have?
The real conflict lies in sacrificing our authentic self for the illusion or image of ourselves that someone else has created.
Its a real killer to creativity, giving our power away....we loose track. Doubt ourselves and loose momentum to fear and the 'what if's' or even worse...'what is everybody else doing?'.
The magic happens when we align our minds with the higher-mind that holds our vision--and it is our vision that will pull us forward. It will guide us through the inevitable journey of the unknown.
If you are without a vision, you will be stuck and stagnant in what you know (your current experience of reality).
