Fire Tree Studios - Musings from the Fire

are you willing to risk it all?

“Instead of making up excuses for why something is impossible, it’s far better to come up with reasons why it could be possible. One reason why is more powerful than all the reasons why not.”

-Jackson Kiddard

I have been interviewing candidates for The 2012 Creative Catalyst Training program –it’s revolutionary.  It is extraordinarily unique in the market place…where else can you get high-level training to become and expressive arts facilitator, self-empowerment coach, master teacher of the creative process AND learn how to create a profitable business doing what you love while making a powerful impact in the world?

I have had some moving, intimate conversations with many amazing people who have incredible visions for making an impact in the world using creativity as a channel and guide. I feel so honored and humbly grateful for the opportunity to hear their stories and to support them in any way that I am able.

The application process to the program is self-selecting.  The curriculum is transparent… intensive, powerfully transformative, robust and collaborative. The investment requires a prioritization and commitment that you are willing to become accountable to your vision.  The program’s success–your success requires that you do ‘the work’, face your fears and birth your dream by rebirthing yourself and your next level of growth and potential.

It is the clients that are doing the work, consistently showing up for themselves…utilizing the coaching tools of The Fire Tree Method and as they unearth their fears– to shift into opportunities. I new consciousness and experience of Self is born.  This creates a whole new mindset of success, of personal identity,  potential, confidence and esteem that then allows any individual to set up and into their highest expression of themselves.

And as true to any program that catalyzes self-empowerment it requires that you take responsibility for your own experience.  Willingness to put your ‘ego on the line’ and give up conditioned beliefs around safety and where you are currently invested in illusions of security.  Willingness to surrender all of your current attachments and the illusory sources where you give your power away, relationships, money, status, identity, food, additctions…the list goes on.

Are you willing to risk it all for your dream?

This is where our livelihood rests. This is when you get a sense of your true capacity for abundance, when you are willing to risk everything you have created at your current level of self-awareness to experience your truth in a grander expression.

I have done this time and time again and it has been the key to success for me. I have followed my heart, Spirit and acted on my intuition even when most people thought I was nuts. I took action.  I invested in my education, training and personal mastery as a priority to manifesting my dreams. I took out loans for graduate school, invested in countless training programs and apprenticeships and left what seemed like a potentially safe and financially secure marriage–where I felt suffocated— to take responsibility for my own happiness in order to live my dream. I started my business with little savings and a big appetite for my vision.  I had no idea how I was going to pay my rent after the first six months and I did… It happened, one step at a time. And I have done it time and time again. It has brought me to the edge of myself every time and the one thing I can say is that each risk, each edge has brought me to the center of my greatest aliveness and and deepened my trust in the Creative Source within me.

So my question for you is….are you willing to risk it all to open up to something greater than you can currently imagine?

Are you willing to let go of what is in your hand to discover the opportunity that surrounds you for insurmountable joy, contribution and fulfillment?
