Take a ride with me next month for the first... week long intuitive painting shamanic journeying retreat I have held in almost 5 years on Martha’s Vineyard! 

This retreat has been annual since 2009…and when Sophia was born I did my last one and realized (as she was 9 months) that it was too much for me to produce & facilitate while being a solo Mama to an infant, still breast feeding and assimilating into MOTHERHOOD. I tried the year later to modify as our beloved retreat estate on Flat Bottom Pond sold, making it smaller and shorter in a new location and it totally flopped. What I learned was this - I needed more space for me—and my work had depended, my clients needed more space too—along with my priority & desire was being a Mom to Sophia (& by hard choice, Dad to her as well) this is what came from breaking the cycle of abuse  in my lineage, looked like. What it looked like in my life to eat my own medicine and evolve the karma by making different choices. 

Sometimes really hard choices.  However it has been so worth it.

What my work had taught me was that motherhood & empowering my feminine gifts of nourishment, nurturing, emotional integrity & presence what the biggest gift I could give both myself & my daughter. And the world. It hasn’t always been easy but now that she is older (6 in 1/4 she reminds me) & I have learned the amount of support & quality I need…the space I need to truly offer a mastery experience in my retreats…and while the world continues to burn up in flames, I know it is time!
